Product Description
Cobalt drill bits are are effective in drilling tough, high tensile strength materials such as cast iron, inconel, stainless steel and titanium. They display high red hardness, permitting speeds up to 30% greater than with conventional M2 high speed steel. These drill bits are jobber (standard) length with a round shank for use in a wide range of tool holding systems. They have a 135° split point tip for fast penetration and accurate drilling. Compared to a conventional 118 degree tip, these drills wont go "walking" on you.
